Bickleton, Washington

It’s off to the remote south central Washington state where I capture some of the images in the small town of Bickleton and other scenic attractions along the day-long road trip.
Bickleton is a small rural town sitting on the grassy hills north of Roosevelt, south of Mabton, and east of Goldendale. Wind turbines at the wind farms to the south pretty much dominate the landscape. The town is quite humble.
There is an old grocery store, a rustic bed and breakfast, a cafe (surprisingly open when I was there), and a post office. There are a couple of other attractions, such as the Livery Stable and the Carousel Museum (closed at the time I was there).
It does have that old town feel that I greatly admire.
