The summer sun sets behind the U.S. Bancorp Tower, or nicknamed by locals as “The Big Pink.” I captured this image from the Eastside Esplanade while on an early evening spin  to downtown Portland on my bicycle. A typical ride to downtown is about 15 miles round trip and takes about an hour of riding time (add in possibly 1 or 2 bridge lifts).
